Weekly Preview: NASCAR Roots On FloRacing (June 24-25)

In 2022, FloRacing has become the home of all things NASCAR Roots racing, from the ARCA Menards Series, to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in Canada, and a multitude of weekly tracks. Now that the racing season is in full swing, we wanted to make sure that you, the fans, are completely up to speed on what is racing each week under the NASCAR Roots banner on FloRacing.

Friday

Quebec Bowl Night 1 at Autodrome Granby – Friday night is the first night of the 2022 Quebec Bowl and it’s a big night of racing. The Big Block Modifieds will run for 75 laps, which is the longest race of the weekend. They’ll be joined on the schedule by a 40-lap Sportsman Modified feature, 20 laps for the Sport Compacts, and the Slingshots will also be in action. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Pro Late Models at Meridian Speedway – Boise, Idaho’s Meridian Speedway is in action on Friday night this week instead of its usual Saturday. Four divisions will be in action with the Pro Late Models headlining the evening. They’ll be joined by the Pro 4s, Mini Stocks, and the Bombers. Racing is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET.

Saturday

Quebec Bowl Night 2 at Autodrome Granby – The big weekend of racing at Granby concludes on Saturday night with four divisions in action. The Big Block Modifieds will race for 40 laps, as will the Sportsman Modifieds. The Sport Compacts will race for 25 laps and the Slingshots are also on the schedule. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Weekly Racing at Riverhead Raceway – The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is in action for the second week in a row, and they’re going bullring racing for the second week in a row as well. Saturday night is the second of three stops to Long Island’s Riverhead Raceway. Doug Coby won the first race at Riverhead last month. The Crate Modifieds, Legends, Mini Stocks and Blunderbusts will all be in action as well with racing action scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. ET. 

Late Models and more at Jennerstown Speedway – Six divisions are in action this Saturday night at Pennsylvania’s Jennerstown Speedway with the Late Model division headlining the night. Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, Chargers and more are on the schedule as well. The first green flag is scheduled to wave at 5:30 p.m. ET.

NASCAR Pinty’s Series at Eastbound International Speedway – Canada’s premier Stock Car series heads to the east to Newfoundland to race at Avondale’s Eastbound International Speedway. Eastbound is a 3/8-mile short track with 18 degrees of banking in the corners. The green flag is set to wave at 3 p.m. ET for the 225-lap race.

ARCA Menards Series at Elko Speedway – The ARCA Menards Series is in action for the third week in a row as the series concludes its three-race Short Track Swing at the 3/8-mile short track in Minnesota. Rajah Caruth leads the points standings by a single point over his Rev Racing teammate, Nick Sanchez. The green flag is scheduled to wave at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Super Late Models at Berlin Raceway – Marne, Michigan’s challenging half-mile is back in action with Super Late Models headlining a four-division night. Limited Late Models, Sportsman and 4-Cylinders will also be in action. The first green flag is scheduled to wave at 6:15 p.m. ET.

Twin Late Model Stock Car Features at Hickory Motor Speedway – After a week off, the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars” is back in action with two 40-lap features for the headlining Late Model Stock Car division. Limited Late Models, Street Stocks and 4-Cylinders will also be in action with racing set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.

Late Model Stock Cars at Langley Speedway – The Late Model Stock Cars are back in action after a week off at Virginia’s Langley Speedway. Defending track champion Brenden Queen enters the night as the points leader due in large part to his season-leading four victories. The Limited Late Models will run twin features on Saturday, plus the Grand Stocks, Super Trucks, Legends and Bandoleros will all be in action as well. The first green flag is scheduled to wave at 7 p.m. ET.

Sportsman 100 at Bowman Gray Stadium – “The Madhouse” has certainly been living up to its name so far in 2022, and Saturday is sure to be another night like that as well with the Sportsman division headlining the evening with a 100-lap race that is sure to be full of action. The Modifieds, Street Stocks and Stadium Stocks. Racing will begin at 8 p.m. ET.

Pro Late Models at Evergreen Speedway – The Pro Late Models will race for 100 laps at Monroe, Washington’s Evergreen Speedway Saturday night, and this time they’ll do so on the big 5/8-mile oval instead of the quarter-mile. Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, Legends, and Vintage Modifieds will all be on the schedule as well. Racing will begin at 8 p.m. ET.
