Weekly Preview: NASCAR Roots On FloRacing (June 3-4)

In 2022, FloRacing has become the home of all things NASCAR Roots racing, from the ARCA Menards Series, to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in Canada, and a multitude of weekly tracks. Now that the racing season is in full swing, we wanted to make sure that you, the fans, are completely up to speed on what is racing each week under the NASCAR Roots banner on FloRacing.

Friday

Modifieds at Autodrome Granby – The Big Block Beasts are back in action for 40 laps around Quebec’s Autodrome Granby on Friday night. They’ll be joined by the Pro Stocks, Sportsman Modifieds, Sports Compacts and Slingshots. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET.


Saturday

ARCA Menards Series West at Portland International Raceway – The ARCA Menards Series West will be making left and right turns on Saturday for the first time this season. The series heads to the Portland International Raceway for the first road course event of the year and the first of two trips to Portland. The green flag is supposed to fly at 4:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. ET.

Late Models and More at Jennerstown Speedway – A week removed from a thrilling NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event, Jennerstown Speedway is back in action with the Late Model division headlining a jam-packed evening of racing. The first green flag is supposed to wave at 6 p.m. ET.

Limited Late Models at Berlin Raceway – The Super Late Models are off as they prepare for next week’s Money in the Bank 150 on Wednesday, June 8, so the always entertaining Limited Late Model division headlines Saturday’s racing card. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Modifieds at Riverhead Raceway – The NASCAR Modifieds of Riverhead Raceway will run an extra-distance race in honor of the “Flying Dutchman” Fred Harbach. Plus, the Crate Modifieds, Legends and Figure 8s will also be in action. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Late Model Stock Cars at South Boston Speedway – The battle for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series national championship continues to go through South Boston as Peyton Sellers and Layne Riggs continue to duel in Virginia. This weekend they’ll battle for 100 laps, while the Limited Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Hornets and Champ Karts are also in action. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET.

Twin Late Model Stock Car Features at Hickory Motor Speedway – The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars will give Late Model Stock Car drivers two chances to become stars in their own right on Saturday. The Late Model division will be in action for two 40-lap features, plus racing in the Street Stocks, Super Trucks, Limited Late Model and 4-cylinder division. Racing will begin at 7 p.m. ET.

Twin Late Model Stock Car Features at Florence Motor Speedway – South Carolina’s Florence Motor Speedway will have eight feature races on Saturday night, including two 40-lap features for the headlining Late Model Stock Cars division. Super Trucks, Mini Stocks, Chargers and more will be in action as well with racing set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.

Modifieds at Bowman Gray Stadium – There’s a reason why they call it “The Madhouse,” and Saturday night will be another perfect example of that as the Modifieds race for 100 laps around the legendary Bowman Gray Stadium. The Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Stadium Stocks will all be in action as well with racing getting underway at 8 p.m. ET.

Late Models at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway – Wisconsin’s legendary LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway is back in action once again this Saturday night with Late Models, Sportsmen, Hornets and more on the schedule of events. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET.

Modifieds and Sprint Cars at Meridian Speedway – Boise, Idaho’s Meridian Speedway will see five divisions in action Saturday night, including the headlining Modified division and the wildly fast pavement Sprint Cars. Racing will begin at 6:30 p.m. MT/8:30 p.m. ET.

Late Models at All American Speedway – Roseville, California’s All American Speedway will have six divisions of racing on Saturday night. The Late Models will headline the evening and will be joined by the Modifieds, Super Stocks and more. Racing will begin at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
