Idaho’s legendary bullring of Meridian Speedway is returning to FloRacing in 2022, but this year it will have every NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event streamed live.

Located just minutes from I-84 and Boise, the capital city of Idaho, sits the quarter-mile paved oval of Meridian Speedway. Meridian has been a home to Late Model racing in Idaho dating back to 1966 when Gary Brown won the first track championship. With a strong NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program and an impressive list of big events, Meridian Speedway will have fans entertained throughout the season on FloRacing.

Meridian Speedway has had some of its special events, including the Idaho 208, streamed live on FloRacing in the past, but 2022 is the first year that all of the track’s events will be streamed live on FloRacing. The addition of Meridian Speedway to FloRacing’s live broadcast schedule continues to broaden NASCAR and FloRacing’s investment into grassroots racing.

FloRacing’s first live broadcast from Meridian Speedway will take place on Saturday, April 9. The Bud Light Modifieds and Pepsi Sprint Cars will headline the evening. They’ll be joined by the Street Stocks, Pro 4s and Hornets. Racing will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. MT.

On Saturday, April 16, Winged Sprint Cars will invade Meridian, and the Pro Late Models will have their first event of 2022, along with the Mini Stocks, Legends and Bombers.

Super Late Models will run their first event of 2022 at Meridian on April 23 at the Treasure Valley 100. They will be joined on the schedule by the Speed Tour Modifieds, Pepsi Sprint Cars, and Stingers.

Meridian Speedway’s biggest event in 2022, the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 208 for the Super Late Models, will take place on Saturday, August 20. Preston Peltier took home the $20,000 payday in 2021 while Jeremy Doss won the event in 2020.

Other big events on the calendar include the two-day Diamond Cup event for the Winged Sprint Cars on June 11 and 12, and the Pink Lady Classic, which will pay $20,000 to the winner on September 24.

Meridian Speedway joins a growing list of NASCAR-sanctioned tracks that will be broadcast live on FloRacing this season. That list already includes Riverhead Raceway, Berlin Raceway, Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, Langley Speedway, Evergreen Speedway, Florence Motor Speedway and All American Speedway with more still to be announced.

FloRacing is also the home of the ARCA Menards Series (11 events), ARCA Menards Series East, ARCA Menards Series West, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
