Fifteen tracks across seven states will host 28 scheduled Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events in 2022 with the Missouri-based series raising its minimum purse to $5,000-to-win and planning five same-track weekends with $5,000- and $7,000-to-win events. | 2022 MLRA schedule

Two first-time series tracks are on the slate — the newly reopened I-70 Motorsports Park in Odessa, Mo., and Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Neb. — while the 34-year-old series returns to 81 Speedway for the first time since 2003 as the Park City, Kan., oval hosts the April 8-9 season-opening weekend.

The tour's richest standalone event is 34 Raceway's Slocum Memorial, a $10,555-to-win event capping an April 22-23 weekend in West Burlington, Iowa, while MLRA will join its big brother Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for events at I-70, the Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., and the Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn. The Show-Me 100 and Gopher 50 each pay a record $50,000-to-win.

Besides 81 Speedway, other tracks hosting $5,000- and $7,000-to-win weekends are Lucas Oil Speedway (which hosts a series-high seven races overall), Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Ill., and Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Ill., for the Oct. 14-15 season-concluding action.

Four tracks that appeared on the 2021 schedule aren't on 2022's MLRA slate, including Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway, which has hosted 26 series events including at least one every season since 2014.
