Twice is nice. Double your pleasure. Let's play two.

Americans have plenty of sayings about why two is better than one, and dirt racing fans will get a chance to discover that in a big way during the busiest ever week in World 100 history.

Forced by pandemic restrictions to postpone last season's World 100, Eldora Speedway is coming back bigger than ever in 2021, providing anxious race fans with two — two! — versions of Dirt Late Model racing's most prestigious event at the legendary, half-mile oval in Rossburg, Ohio, founded by Earl Baltes.

The 51st and 50th annual events — yes, scheduled in reverse order so that the milestone 50th event is held on a Saturday night — promise to make World 100 history with two preliminary nights of action and two huge finales that will end with winning driver hoisting globed trophies.

Longtime Eldora fans have seen some amazing things at the Tony Stewart-owned oval, including last-lap passes, entry lists of more than 200 cars, and even a Dirt Late Model race paying $1 million! But Eldora's faithful has never been blessed with two World 100s within 48 hours. It may turn the world upside down.
