Since April 4, 2009, the Ventura County Fairgrounds has held sixteen West Coast 360 events and eleven different drivers have claimed victory. Led by Tristan Guardino and Jake Swanson with three wins, Guardino also set the 1-lap track record of 11.958 on March 23, 2019. When the series last raced at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, Chase Johnson took the checkered flags on November 29, 2019.

After running fifth at Petaluma on May 15th, D.J. Johnson (Stockton, CA) has taken over the point lead. Racing his #33 Bill’s Tire Service of Pacheco / The Halstead Real Estate Eagle, Johnson has posted one heat race victory, three top-10 finishes, and 5 feature laps led on the season. The 2013 USAC Western Classic Sprint Car Rookie of the Year will be looking for the third series win of his career.

Since finishing second to Geoff Ensign at Petaluma, Austin Liggett (Linden, CA) has climbed to second in the championship point standings. Piloting the family owned #83 Excel Environmental / Liggett Trucking Maxim, Liggett has two top-10 finishes in the campaign. Ranked third in series wins, the 2018 Champion will have his sights on his thirteenth victory this Saturday night.

Ryan Timmons (Pleasant Hill, CA) ranks third in the chase for the championship. Driving the family owned #29T Timmons Auto & Truck Repair / Evergood Fine Foods CS9, Timmons has posted one Rod End Supply Hard Charger Award and two top-10 finishes on the season. At Ventura Raceway, the 2016 Rookie of the Year will be looking for the fifth win of his career.

“The Pride of Garden Grove” Brody Roa (Garden Grove, CA) sits fourth in the point standings. Piloting the May Motorsports’ #8M Fastenal / Coopers Propane Maxim, Roa has one feature win, one Woodland Auto Display Top Qualifier Award, two heat race victories, one hard charger award, two top-10 finishes, and 25 feature laps led on the season. Kaleb Montgomery (Templeton, CA) is fifth USAC West Coast point standings. Racing the family owned #3 Mission Country Properties / David Crye Maxim, Montgomery has posted two top-10 finishes and 8 feature laps led in the campaign. Fresh off a winged SCCT 360 Sprint Car win at Petaluma, Kaleb has one career series win and will be looking to add a Ventura trophy to his collection.
