West Virginia Motor Speedway's Purse Boost Includes Fast Time Award
West Virginia Motor Speedway has added $2,650 to the race purse and a $500 fast time award to Sunday's race that reopens the 5/8-mile oval in Mineral Wells.
West Virginia Motor Speedway has added $2,650 to the race purse and a $500 fast time award to Sunday's Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Series event that's reopening the 5/8-mile oval in Mineral Wells.

The winner's purse remains $8,000 for the Super Late Model event, but several finishing position receives a boost with the revised $27,650 total purse including $800 more for the runner-up ($4,000 instead of $3,200) and at least $500 to every starter. The original purse of $25,000 paid $400-to-start.
Gates open at 3 p.m. with hot laps at 6 and racing at 7 at the Cody-Watson promoted oval. General admission is $25.
