2nd Annual California IMCA Speedweek Expands To 8 Races In 9 Days

The 2nd Annual California IMCA Speedweek has new dates and is expanding to eight races in nine days, beginning at the West's fastest 1/3 mile, Bakersfield Speedway, on April 30th. From there, IMCA Modified and IMCA Northern SportMod drivers will travel an hour north to Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, CA on May 1st followed by Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA on May 2nd and Merced Speedway on May 3rd. May 4th will be an off/work day for the teams following the Speedweek that pays $1000 to win, $100 to start for the Modifieds and $750 to win, $75 to start for the SportMods during each night of racing. 

The newly refurbished Antioch Speedway will kick off the second segment of the California IMCA Speedweek on May 5th before drivers head across the Bay to Petaluma Speedway on May 6th followed by a drive into the mountains and a stop at Placerville Speedway on May 7th. The famed quarter mile of Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA will be the final stop of the week on May 8th.
