November Set For Largest USAC Slate Ever

When one thinks of November, many feel like closing up shop, winding down and entering hibernation mode until the rising of Spring.

In the world of USAC racing, however, the month of November actually ramps up the racing activity. In fact, this year, November greets us with 11 USAC National events between the AMSOIL National Sprint Car division’s five and the NOS Energy Drink National Midget series’ six.

The 11 total USAC National events marks the largest slate in the history of USAC during November dating to its inception in 1956.  Prior to this year, the previous record of USAC National events in a single November came in 2009 and 2014 when eight events were held.

13 total events are scheduled for across all of USAC’s circle track platforms with an Eastern Speed2 Midget event already being held last Saturday, Nov. 2. However, all the upcoming National events are packed with stars of the National series in conjunction with the Western and Southwest regional series.

First up is the 24th annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by All Coast Construction on Nov. 7-8-9 at California’s Perris Auto Speedway featuring USAC AMSOIL National, CRA and Sands Chevrolet Southwest Sprint Cars.

The following week, the road takes all those three sprint car series plus the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets and Western States Midgets for an action-packed 52nd annual Western World Championships from Arizona Speedway in San Tan Valley on Nov. 15-16.
