By passing 23 cars throughout the three nights of Smackdown VIII, Chris Windom has claimed the ProSource Passing Master award for the eighth running of the event.

The two-time USAC National champion from Canton, Ill. advanced from the 16th starting spot to a 7th place finish in Thursday’s opener, then moved from 12th to 8th on Friday and from 18th to 8th in Saturday’s finale.

Windom, who earlier in the year earned the ProSource Passing Master title during Indiana Midget Week, earned a $400 bonus from longtime USAC supporter ProSource for advancing the most total positions in the three feature events throughout the week, nine more than his closest competitor.
