Grid Draw Revealed for World RX Of Sweden Q1

Xite Racing’s Oliver Bennett will start the first race of Q1 at the World RX of Sweden from pole position, in the capacity line up at Holjes.

Grid Draw Revealed for World RX Of Sweden Q1

Xite Racing’s Oliver Bennett will start the first race of Q1 at the Swecon World RX of Sweden from pole position, in the capacity line up for round six of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Holjes.

The random Q1 grid draw has been revealed by the FIA, with GCK Academy’s Rokas Baciuska in P2 for race 1, EKS Sport’s Krisztian Sazbo P3 and Norway’s Kjetil Larsen in P4. On the outside of the grid for race 1 will be local hero Kevin Hansen, the same position his Team Hansen MJP teammate and championship leader Timmy Hansen will take in race 2.

Three French drivers line up on the inside in race 2, with Pailler Competition’s Fabien Pailler on pole position, GCK Academy’s Cyril Raymond in P2 and the other team Pailler driver, Jonathan Pailler in the middle. Olsbergs MSE’s Sebastian Eriksson will make his return to World RX in P4. Team STARD drivers take pole position in two Q1 races, Finland’s Jere Kalliokoski on pole in race 3 and Latvia’s Janis Baumanis taking the inside in race 4. ALL-INKL.COM Muennuch Motorsport’s Timo Scheider, GC Kompetition’s Guerlain Chicherit and GCK Academy’s Guillaume De Ridder will hold the middle of the grid in Race 3, with Olsbergs MSE’s Kevin Eriksson on the outside.

GRX teammates Reinis Nitiss and Timur Timerzyanov will take P2 and P3 in race 4, joined by wildcard drivers Philip Gehrman and Ulrik Linnemann on the outside of the grid, with Great Britain’s Liam Doran on pole in race 5. Next to Doran in the final race of the session will be his Monster Energy RX Cartel teammate, Andreas Bakkerud, with ESmotorsport Labas-GAS’ Kevin Abbring making his second World RX start from the middle of the grid, GCK’s Anton Marklund and GRX’s Niclas Gronholm taking P4 and P5.
