McDougal Migrates to FMR Racing Midget

As the world turns in the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, Jason McDougal has assumed the role as the driver of the FMR Racing No. 76m beginning with this weekend’s event at Dirt Oval 66 in Joliet, Ill. on Saturday, June 29.

The announcement came shortly after C.J. Leary announced his move into McDougal’s former ride, the Steve Reynolds No. 21KS.  Now McDougal takes over Leary’s former ride for the remainder of 2019.

McDougal has driven to three top-four finishes in eight starts this year, including a 2nd place result at the “Kokomo Grand Prix” in April and 4th place runs at Kokomo the following night and in June at Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway during "Indiana Midget Week."

McDougal has been a victor twice in the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car division, in June during “Eastern Storm” at New Jersey’s Bridgeport Speedway, and during the 2018 season at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo.

Saturday’s event also features the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions and the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series.  The parking lot opens at 3pm (Central), front gates at 3pm, pre-race party at 3pm and showtime at 7:30pm.

Adult general admission tickets are $25, children general admission is $10, reserved adult tickets are $30, adult pit passes are $40 apiece and children pit passes are $10.
