Sweden’s Robin Larsson scored his second FIA European Rallycross Championship for Supercar victory in a row at the Team Verksted World RX of Norway to extend his Championship lead.

Norway’s Thomas Bryntesson took the day one TQ (top qualifier) position, but Larsson took TQ in the Intermediate Classification and won the first semi-final to take the pole for the final. In the wet conditions between the World RX semis and final in Hell, Larsson led the Euro RX final from the front of the race with a clean windscreen and took his second win for JC Raceteknik. France’s Jean-Baptiste Dubourg was also on the podium for the second race in a row with DA Racing’s Peugeot 208 after taking his joker on lap one, and Bryntesson finished third with his Volkswagen Polo.

During the race, Bryntesson passed Kristoffersson Motorsport’s Sondre Evjen for P2 on lap three, but the RX2 International Series race winner was slowed at the end of the final with broken steering. Finland’s Mikko Ikonen finished in P4, racing the Ford Fiesta that Latvia’s Reinis Nitiss used to win the Euro RX Supercar Championship last season and Andrea Dubourg made it two DA Racing Peugeot 208s in the final in P5, the same result he scored at Silverstone.
