Silverstone Q1 Draw Revealed

The Q1 draw for the World RX of Great Britain, round 4 of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at the Speedmachine Festival has been revealed.

Silverstone Q1 Draw Revealed

The Q1 draw for the Dayinsure World RX of Great Britain, round four of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at the Speedmachine Festival has been revealed.

Reigning British Rallycross Champion Mark Higgins will start on pole position in Q1 Race 1 at Silverstone in his first start of the season, joined on the grid by EKS Sport’s Krisztian Szabo and ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport’s Timo Scheider. The top two in the World RX Drivers’ Championship, Sweden’s Kevin and Timmy Hansen will start in Q1 Race 2, Timmy on pole and Kevin in P4 on the outside, sandwiching Monster Energy RX Cartel’s Andreas Bakkerud and GC Kompetition’s Guerlain Chicherit.

Standing in for the unwell Niclas Gronholm, Finland’s Joni Wiman will be on pole position in Q1 Race 3, joined by France’s Herve Knapick, Finland’s Jani Passonen, Britain’s Oliver Bennett and Belgium’s Gullaume De Ridder.

In the fourth and final race of Q1, GCK’s Anton Marlund will start on pole, the other home hero Liam Doran will start in P2, and round three winner Timur Timerzyanov will launch away from the lights between STARD’s Janis Baumanis on the outside and GCK Academy’s Cyril Raymond in the middle of the grid.
