A smooth sailing David Stremme cruised his way to a popular win at Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway last night in Renegades of Dirt action at the ½ mile ‘Museum of Speed’. Thirty six Renegades of Dirt Modifieds from eight states signed in to do battle in the tours first ever visit to the ultra fast Bedford Fairgrounds.

Making his first appearance with the tour in 2019, Warren, PA’s Dan Davies would top the stout field of Renegades to earn the Dickson Racing Shocks “Shock The Clock” Fast Qualifier award.

Preliminary heat race action was won by Dan Davies, Eddie Carrier Jr., Evan Taylor, & David Stremme. Davies would take the quick time momentum and grab a flag to flag Octane Race Products Heat Race #1 win. National Late Model stand out, Eddie Carrier wasted little time acclimating to life inside a modified piloting a JR. Nolan owned 2Brothers Outlaw to the win in Arizona Sport Shirts Heat Race #2. Local hotshoe Evan Taylor would take Poske Performance Parts Heat Race #3. Stremme set the tone for a dominating night by winning Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race #4.

The evenings Impact Race Gear B-Main was won by Gallipolis, OH veteran Mark Dickson while Warsaw, NY’s Michael McGee would finish in the second and final transfer spot. Justin Hart and Mitch Thomas would garner Renegade of Dirt points provisionals.

The twenty four car field would roll to the green flag with David Stremme and Jackson, OH’s Seth Daniels leading the field after pole sitter Daniel Hill would scratch due to engine failure. Immediately, Stremme would grab the point setting a torrid pace around the big half mile. Only two cautions would slow the event with McGee pulling slow to the high side of turn #3 in the races early going. Followed by a lap 21 caution for Jonathan Taylor after spinning in turn #2 collecting Dan Davies in the incident.

On the restart it was Mooresville, NC’s David Stremme who would go on lead the remaining laps in “steering” his way into OTP Industrial Solutions Renegades of Dirt Victory Lane for the first time in 2019. Piloting the Lethal Chassis house car #35, Stremme, would finish the remaining ten laps without power steering which still was not enough to stop him.

“Hats off to Bedford Speedway and the fans for supporting us tonight. This was an incredibly fast place to race and the track came in really good there for the feature” stated Stremme. “My wife has some family close by in PA so its always nice when we can come run this area. It is especially nice to pick up the big win” added David. “This is a really solid field of cars. You have a ton of great drivers here tonight and this is a pretty cool deal to win this race against this field” concluded Stremme.
