Smackdown Ticket Renewals Now Open

Kokomo, Indiana (February 6, 2019)………Ticket and camping renewals are now on sale until February 8 for “Sprint Car Smackdown VIII” at Kokomo Speedway featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship on August 22-23-24, 2019.

To purchase three-day passes and/or camping spots, call the Kokomo Speedway ticket office at (815) 468-8690.

The three-day pass is a reserved seat and will include a pit pass for $80, (pit pass promotion is for fans only).  The pit pass promotion will end on March 11.

On Monday, February 11, reserved seats and camping spots will be open to everyone.  Camping spots are $40 for the weekend.  Single-day tickets are not sold in advance, but will be available for purchase the day of the event.

Justin Grant is the reigning winner of the “Sprint Car Smackdown” finale in 2018.  Tyler Courtney and Tyler Thomas were victorious on the first two nights of action.  Previous “Smackdown” finale winners include Bryan Clauson (2012), Dave Darland (2013-14-15), Kevin Thomas, Jr. (2016) and Tyler Courtney (2017). 


USAC Stat Book: AMSOIL National Sprint Cars

Brady Bacon rose to the top of the charts in the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship in terms of wins with back-to-back scores earlier in the month at Knoxville, Iowa, his third and fourth of the year.  No other driver has more than two: Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) and Tyler Courtney (Indianapolis, Ind.).  C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.) remains the point leader on the back of tremendous consistency coming into a stretch of nine races in 11 nights, beginning Wednesday, July 17, at Eldora, then eight nights of NOS Energy Drink Indiana Midget Week July 18-27.

Indiana Sprint Week Start Times Shifted

The opening weekend of the 32nd annual NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week tour will have a cooler start with this Thursday through Sunday’s event times pushed back to later in the evening.
