Four multi-night weekends over the course of three months at four different tracks will highlight the NeSmith Chevrolet Late Model Series Winter Shootout, with the first race coming just days after the calendar turns to 2018. If a single driver sweeps the entire schedule, he will walk away with $27,500.

The eight-race mini-series will kick off at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, with three nights of action on Jan. 5-7. Only one of these evenings will feature an A-Main, but the $3,000-to-win Icebowl will bring out drivers to tune and test their cars in practice Friday night with qualification and heats running on Saturday.

In February, three nights of racing will be preceded by a night of practice at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL. Thursday and Friday night will feature a pair of preliminary races for the 14th annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race, but they will be well worth challenging with $2,000-to-win paydays. The winner of the big show on Saturday night will pocket $10,000.

Two weeks later, the series rolls into Tennessee for a pair of races at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville. The Tennessee Tip-Off starts Friday night with an A-Main that pays $2,000 to the first-place driver. Saturday will add $500 to the purse.

The series will wind up in the Peach State at Cochran (GA) Motor Speedway for the Cochran Clash. This will be another Friday/Saturday show with a $2,000-to-win purse in the preliminary night and $4,000 for the big feature.
