The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has announced their 2018 schedule and it includes a combination of iconic races, new tracks, and courses that have not been run in several years.

Of course, it’s easy to get a mix of venues when a series hosts nearly 100 events.

The 2018 schedule is slated for 91 races actually, with 23 multi-day events. Kicking off with the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida on February 6-17 and ending with the Textron Off Road Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway November 1-3, multi-day shows make up the meat of the schedule.

Other events are tightly linked and geographically concise, like the Western Swing that will happen as soon as the series rolls out of Florida in February. Back-to-back races at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX and Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, TX will be hosted on consecutive nights February 23 and 24 before the series rolls through Las Vegas on the way to the California.

On the way back, another multi-night show—the Texas Outlaw Nationals—will be hosted at Devil’s Bowl Raceway in Mesquite, TX April 27-28.

Fairbury (IL) American Legion Speedway hosts its first Outlaw race ever on May 30 with the challenge of navigating the tight confines of a 0.25-mile track.

Returning tracks include the long absent Lake Ozark (MO) Speedway in April, Farley (IA) Speedway in June, and the Terre Haute (IN) Action track in October.

And, of course, all of the iconic races in the middle of the season will return including the lucrative month of money that kicks off with the Kings Royal and ends with the Knoxville Nationals.

This year, the series is adding one more date to Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH. The #LastCallforThemAll will run October 14.

In total, the series will visit 53 tracks in 24 states and cover nearly 30,000 highway miles, so chances are good that the Greatest Show on Dirt will be within driving distance of every fan at some time or another in 2018.
