Jonathan Davenport Joins Mark Martin In 2018
Jonathan Davenport changed rides in the middle of the 2017 season and now he is set to do so again in 2018.
After a year filled with changes, Jonathan Davenport will find a new home with Mark Martin and Lance Landers for 2018.
After leaving the Barry Wright house car and jumping into GR Smith Longhorn machine, Davenport saw improved success in the latter half of the season. Immediately after the switch, Davenport went on to score back-to-back victories in unsanctioned events. Davenport went on the win the Lucas Dirt Hillbilly 100 and World 100.
In 2018, Davenport expects to continue improving his results with Martin, one of auto racing’s legends. This team has a history of success with Scott Bloomquist and Jared Landers behind the wheel since 2015.
