What Is Lonesome Pine Raceway?
Lonesome Pine Raceway is a ⅜-mile paved short track located in Coeburn, Virginia. The track opened in 1972, and it was recently announced that the track will host its first zMAX CARS Tour event in 2027.
What Divisions Are Running The Coalfield Classic?
The headlining division will be the Late Model Stock Cars, which will run a 150-lap race that pays $10,000 to the race winner. Late Model Stock Cars are the headlining division at many tracks throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, and northeastern Tennessee. Limited Late Models are also on the schedule and will race for 100 laps. Super Streets, Street Stocks, and Crown Victorias.
