The road to a Golden Driller begins with a week of practice, racing and high-stakes competition as the 2027 Tulsa Shootout returns to Tulsa Expo Raceway from Dec. 28, 2026, through Jan. 2, 2027.
A marquee event on the micro sprint calendar, the Tulsa Shootout will feature six divisions throughout the week, with drivers competing in Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, Winged A-Class, Stock Non-Wing, Restricted A-Class and Junior Sprints.

The event opens with practice Monday, Dec. 28, before four consecutive days of racing lead into Driller Day on Saturday, Jan. 2.
Here is the day-by-day schedule for the 2027 Tulsa Shootout.
Monday, Dec. 28: Practice Day
The Tulsa Shootout begins Monday with practice at Tulsa Expo Raceway. Teams will have an opportunity to prepare for the week ahead across all six divisions.
The practice-day lineup includes:
- Sawyer Chassis Winged Outlaw
- Hyper Racing Non-Wing Outlaw
- JST Motorsports Winged A-Class
- Joe's Racing Products Stock Non-Wing
- FuelTech Restricted A-Class
- Storm Chassis Junior Sprints
Tuesday, Dec. 29: Racing Day 1
Official competition begins Tuesday, Dec. 29, as the Tulsa Shootout moves from practice to its first day of racing.
All six divisions are scheduled to compete, beginning the weeklong push toward the event's signature Golden Driller trophies.
Wednesday, Dec. 30: Racing Day 2
Racing continues Wednesday, Dec. 30, with all six divisions returning to the schedule at Tulsa Expo Raceway.
With competition underway, drivers will look to build momentum as the event progresses through the middle of the week.
Thursday, Dec. 31: Racing Day 3
The Tulsa Shootout continues Thursday, Dec. 31, with a third consecutive day of racing.
The six-division lineup remains unchanged as competitors work through the event's schedule and pursue their place among the contenders for a Golden Driller.
Friday, Jan. 1: Racing Day 4
The new year begins with Racing Day 4 on Friday, Jan. 1, as the Tulsa Shootout enters the final stretch of its scheduled competition.
All six divisions are listed for Friday's program at Tulsa Expo Raceway, continuing the action into the weekend.
Saturday, Jan. 2: Driller Day
The Tulsa Shootout concludes Saturday, Jan. 2, with Driller Day.
The event's final scheduled day features all six divisions at Tulsa Expo Raceway as competitors reach the culmination of the weeklong event.
With the Golden Driller serving as the ultimate prize, Driller Day brings the 2026-27 Tulsa Shootout schedule to a close.
