After rain and scattered thunderstorms moved through most of northwest Ohio overnight and into the morning, racing fans at the World 100 at Eldora Speedway woke up to even wetter conditions than they experienced earlier this week.

The National Weather Service forecasted showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 p.m. ET in the area for Saturday, September 12, and then continued chance of showers and thunderstorms in the area after 2 p.m, mainly before 7 p.m.

The chance of rain appears to decrease throughout the afternoon, with most of the weather hitting before noon.

Planned activities continued on schedule at the track as usual this morning and racing is still set to begin after the Racecar Engineering Pre-Race Show at 5:30 p.m. ET.
