World 100 week at Eldora Speedway kicked off Thursday night with a pair of preliminary features at the Rossburg, Ohio dirt track. Ashton Winger and Brandon Overton picked up $12,000 victories to kick off the most prestigious event in dirt late model racing. 

A three-hour rain delay set up a long night and morning at The Big E, with the first feature race not seeing the green flag until after 1:30 a.m. ET on Friday. 

When the green flag waved for the Group A feature, it was polesitter Brian Shirley jumping out to the early lead. Third-starting Ashton Winger used a slider on Shirley on Lap 12 to take the lead for the first time before surviving a pair of restarts to win the first 25-lap feature. 

The win was Winger's first dirt late model win at Eldora Speedway. 

Shirley held on to finish second, while Brandon Sheppard charged from 13th to finish third. Chris Ferguson and Ryan Gustin completed the top five. 

Brandon Overton prevailed in an entertaining battle with Josh Rice to pick up the win in the 25-lap Group B feature. The win for Overton is his first at The Big E since his second Dirt Late Model Dream win in 2022. 

Rice finished second to Overton at the line, while Tyler Erb completed the podium. Nick Hoffman finished fourth and Bobby Pierce charged from 26th in a backup car to finish fifth.
