The ballots have been counted and the results are in for the CARS Tour “Best Appearing Throwback” fan vote on FloRacing. 

For the third year in a row, Claremont, North Carolina’s Landon Huffman received the most votes. Huffman ran a throwback to his father, Robert Huffman’s 2001 NASCAR Goody’s Dash Series No. 37 scheme in Saturday’s Throwback Classic.

Huffman and his Carroll Speedshop team will receive a full Next Gen body kit from Five Star Race Car Bodies.

Taking the win for the Pro Late Models was Tristan Pena, who ran a tribute scheme to the late Greg Biffle. Pena’s scheme was modeled after Biffle’s No. 50 that he ran in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to the championship in 2000.

Pena and his Mike Darne Racing team will also receive a full Next Gen body kit from Five Star Race Car Bodies.

The zMAX CARS Tour is off for a week, but will be back in action at South Carolina’s Anderson Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 22 on FloRacing.
