
The 49th Annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire at Ohio’s Summit Motorsports Park is this Saturday night, and it’s live on FloRacing. Some of the biggest names in nitro-fueled drag racing are heading to Norwalk, Ohio for a massive exhibition event with one goal: to be crowned the King of Nitro.

What Is Night Under Fire?
Night Under Fire is the largest single-day event in drag racing each year. It is held annually at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. It combines the championship-caliber NHRA competition with fan-favorite exhibition acts, jet-powered vehicles, pyrotechnics, and one of the largest fireworks displays in motorsports that costs upwards of $150,000 to produce.
This year, the event will also have Pro Stocks on the schedule as part of the newly added Mountain Motor Pro Stock Shootout. That event will have a 16-car field with $100,000 in prize money being paid throughout.
Top Sportsman and Top Alcohol are also on the schedule this year.
Who Is Racing At Night Under Fire?
Some of the biggest names in nitro-fueled drag racing are heading to Norwalk this weekend. Four Funny Car drivers and Four Top Fuel drivers will be representing their disciplines.
The Funny Car list includes Ron Capps, Spencer Hyde, Cruz Pedregon, and Jordan Vandergriff.
Representing the Top Fuel class will be Maddi Gordon, Clay Millican, Doug Kalitta, and Antron Brown.
The winners from each division will face off against each other to determine who is the true King of Nitro with big money set to be paid to the victor.

The 2026 Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire will be broadcast live on FloRacing for the first time in its 49-year history on Saturday, August 1.

- 4:30-5:30 p.m. — Autograph Session
- 6 p.m. — Pre-Race Parade
