The 2026 Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire streams live exclusively on FloRacing on Saturday, Aug. 1 from Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

The 49th annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire takes place Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026.
The weekend begins with Friday Night Qualifying on July 31, featuring Top Fuel and Funny Car qualifying from 6-9 p.m. Saturday's festivities begin when the gates open at 8 a.m., followed by the autograph session from 4:30-5:30 p.m., the pre-race parade at 6 p.m., and show time at 7 p.m. The evening concludes with the annual fireworks spectacular.

The event takes place at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Hosted by the Bader family, Night Under Fire has grown into one of the sport's marquee annual events, attracting more than 40,000 fans each summer. The combination of championship-caliber drag racing and family-friendly entertainment has made it one of the most recognizable events on the drag racing calendar.
Who Is Racing At Night Under Fire?
The 2026 lineup features some of the biggest names in NHRA competition.
Funny Car stars include Jordan Vandergriff, Spencer Hyde, Cruz Pedregon and three-time NHRA world champion Ron Capps.
The Top Fuel field features Maddi Gordon, Clay Millican, reigning NHRA world champion Doug Kalitta and four-time world champion Antron Brown.
Fans will also see the debut of the Mountain Motor Pro Stock Shootout, a 16-car field competing for a $100,000 purse, along with Top Alcohol Dragster competition, Top Sportsman eliminations, jet dragsters, Hayden Proffitt's Hot Streak II Jet Truck, Rick Ream's wheelstander and additional exhibition attractions.
What Is The King Of Nitro?
The King of Nitro is one of Night Under Fire's signature attractions.
Top Fuel and Funny Car competitors race through elimination rounds before the winners from each category meet in a final showdown to determine the King of Nitro champion. A guaranteed $430,000 purse is on the line for the nitro competitors throughout the event.
What Else Happens At Night Under Fire?
Night Under Fire is known for offering far more than drag racing.
The evening includes a pre-race parade featuring the night's competitors and entertainers, military flyovers, skydivers, exhibition vehicles and one of the largest fireworks displays in motorsports, with a $150,000 fireworks show closing out the event.
