Giovanni Scelzi earned the richest victory of his career Sunday, capturing the $100,000 Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway with Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing for his first six-figure payday and the first-ever victory for the Spire Motorsports Sprint Car team.
Scelzi led the final 13 of the 40 laps, taking the lead for good from Chase Dietz on lap 28. Dietz, who paced 22 laps, settled for second, while Tyler Courtney, who led six laps, completed the podium in third. For complete results, see below.
