The Bob Weikert Memorial returns to Port Royal Speedway on July 25-26 after weather forced one of sprint car racing's marquee events to be postponed from its original Memorial Day weekend dates. Speedway officials, Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing and the Weikert family made the decision to reschedule the event after forecasts called for significant rainfall and unseasonably cool temperatures.

The new weekend schedule features two days of High Limit Racing competition, beginning with the Greg Hodnett Classic on Saturday before culminating with the Bob Weikert Memorial on Sunday. The finale is scheduled to pay $100,000 to the winner if Saturday's program is completed.
In addition to the racing, fans can enjoy vintage race car displays, live entertainment, giveaways, fan activities and the High Limit Fan Fest throughout the weekend at Port Royal Speedway.

Family Activities Throughout The Weekend
Fans attending Port Royal Speedway can enjoy more than just racing during the rescheduled weekend. Both days feature vintage race car displays, race simulators, family giveaways and activities at the Port Royal Speedway Ministries Fan Zone.
Children ages 17 and under can enter raffles for gift bags that include a $100 Knoebels gift card, a $25 Subway gift card, a Weikert T-shirt and other promotional items. Fans also can enter a weekend-long raffle for a Blackstone Grill.
