The Bob Weikert Memorial is back on the calendar after severe weather forced officials to postpone one of sprint car racing's biggest weekends earlier this season. Originally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, the event now will take place July 25-26 at Port Royal Speedway, with Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing headlining both days.

The rescheduled weekend features a pair of marquee races at The Speed Palace. Saturday's program includes the Greg Hodnett Classic, while Sunday's Bob Weikert Memorial finale will award $100,000 to the winner if Saturday's program is completed as scheduled.
Beyond the on-track action, fans attending Port Royal Speedway can enjoy vintage race car displays, driver appearances, live entertainment, giveaways and the popular High Limit Fan Fest throughout the weekend. Those unable to make the trip can watch every lap live on FloRacing.

Why Was The Bob Weikert Memorial Rescheduled?
Port Royal Speedway, Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing and the Weikert family postponed the original Memorial Day weekend event after forecasts called for significant rain and unseasonably cold temperatures.
Officials announced the decision early to help fans, teams and traveling series personnel avoid unnecessary travel expenses and logistical challenges. Reserved seating and camping purchased for the original dates were transferred to the rescheduled July 25-26 weekend.
