Carson Hocevar Returns To Slinger Speedway
Hocevar will make his fourth trip to Slinger Speedway hoping for his best result yet in the prestigious Super Late Model event.
The Michigan native has completed just over 200 laps across two Slinger Nationals starts and failed to qualify during his most recent visit in 2022. After earning a NASCAR Cup Series victory at Talladega earlier this season, Hocevar will look to carry that momentum into one of North America's toughest short-track races.
Ty Majeski Headlines Loaded Entry List
Standing in Hocevar's way is four-time and defending Slinger Nationals champion Ty Majeski.
The Seymour, Wisconsin native dominated the 2025 race, leading 133 of 200 laps on his way to a fourth victory. Across 12 Slinger Nationals starts, Majeski has led 733 laps and enters this year's event as the driver to beat.
Other notable entries include reigning Snowball Derby champion Stephen Nasse, recent ASA STARS National Tour winner Carson Brown, Derek Thorn, Derek Kraus, Luke Fenhaus and Rich Bickle.
👀 He's only been competing in the race since 2013, but @TyMajeski has led more laps than any other driver at the Slinger Nationals since 2003.#SlingerNationals | July 13-14 | Live on FloRacing pic.twitter.com/JUtyuhTWTa

A Crown Jewel Of Short-Track Racing
The Slinger Nationals has earned a reputation as one of asphalt racing's premier crown jewel events.
Since its debut, the race has attracted NASCAR stars, regional legends and some of the biggest names in short-track racing. Drivers including Mark Martin, Alan Kulwicki, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch and William Byron have all won or competed in the event, while many other notable racers have tried to conquer the high-banked quarter-mile.
The 2026 edition adds another chapter to that history as Hocevar looks to finally break through at Slinger Speedway.
