The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series continued its tripleheader weekend and six-race span in 10 days with the 20th annual CMH Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.
The two-day program commenced with Friday’s 40-lap, $15,000-to-win Salute to Forrest, which honored the late Forrest Lucas, founder of Lucas Oil products and Lucas Oil Speedway. Lucas died last August at 83. The weekend concludes with Saturday's 50-lap, $25,000-to-win finale at the state-of-the-art 3/8-mile oval.
