One of the premier events on the USAC National Midget schedule concluded Wednesday night under the lights at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Briggs Danner emerged victorious in the eighth running of the BC39, outlasting a field of more than 60 drivers to capture one of the most prestigious wins in Midget racing.

The $20,039 victory marked the biggest win of Danner's career and made him the first Pennsylvania driver to capture the prestigious BC39.

Starting from the pole, Danner faced a stiff challenge throughout the 39-lap feature. He traded the lead multiple times with Cannon McIntosh and Kevin Thomas Jr. during the race's middle stages before pulling away in the closing laps to secure the victory.

Thomas Jr. crossed the finish line 1.266 seconds behind Danner, while Jacob Denney charged from his ninth starting spots to claim third in the closing laps. McIntosh, the two-time defending race winner, faded to fourth in the closing laps and Kale Drake completed the top five.
