The fourth event of the 10-race Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek was contested Monday at Lincoln Speedway with the Steve Smith Tribute Race, which offered a miniseries-record $50,019 payday to the winner of the 35-lap feature.
Chase Dietz added one of Pennsylvania Sprint Car racing's most prestigious victories to his breakout 14-win season, winning his third consecutive PA Speedweek feature after starting second and collecting the richest payday of his career.
Freddie Rahmer led the opening 10 laps from the pole, but Dietz remained within striking distance before taking the lead on lap 11. From there, Dietz controlled the remainder of the race, navigating lapped traffic and surviving two late cautions to pull away by more than four seconds.
Danny Dietrich stormed from 22nd to finish second and earn hard-charger honors, while Cameron Smith completed the podium in the Shark Racing No. 1A.
Logan Schuchart finished fourth and Brady Bacon rounded out the top five in a field that also included World of Outlaws regular Carson Macedo along with High Rollers Brent Marks and Kerry Madsen. Reigning PA Speedweek champion Anthony Macri, meanwhile, failed to qualify for the feature.
