Kaden Honeycutt captured his first Virginia Triple Crown victory Saturday night, dominating the 20th running of the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 at South Boston Speedway.

Honeycutt led 187 of the 200 laps after taking the lead from polesitter Landen Lewis on Lap 13. The win came against a 43-car Late Model Stock field and earned Honeycutt the $10,000 winner's prize in the opening leg of the Virginia Triple Crown.

Starting third, Honeycutt quickly worked his way to the front and remained in control for the remainder of the race, never relinquishing the lead.

Trevor Ward rallied from the 13th starting position to finish second, while Landon Pembleton advanced from 17th on the grid to claim third. Carson Brown finished fourth, with Lewis rounding out the top five.

The Virginia Triple Crown continues July 25 with the Hampton Heat 200 at Langley Speedway before concluding Sept. 26 with the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway.
