Despite Mother Nature's best efforts to interrupt the party, Eldora Speedway hosted the 32nd Annual Dirt Late Model Dream on Saturday evening. Bobby Pierce charged from his 13th starting position to claim his first career Dirt Late Model Dream win and the $100,000 prize that went along with it. 

Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., overtook Brandon Sheppard on the 59th lap and led the rest of Saturday's 100-lapper for a career-high matching $100,000. Pierce took the checkers 1.046 seconds ahead of eighth-starting Max Blair, adding the victory to Thursday's $30,000 preliminary triumph while ending Jonathan Davenport consecutive Dream streak at three.

Blair attempted to chase down Pierce in the closing laps before settling for second. Nick Hoffman drove from 15th to third, while Dale McDowell and Devin Moran completed the podium. 

Four-time Dirt Late Model Dream winner Jonathan Davenport finished sixth after a late pit stop for a tire change.
