Shakedown At M'Town Brigs Star-Studded Pro Mod Field To US 131 This Weekend

The wait is over — Shakedown at M’Town returns to U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan, May 28-30, bringing together some of the toughest names in outlaw and Pro Mod drag racing for one massive weekend of eighth-mile action. The event is a collaborative effort between the FuelTech Radial Outlaws Racing Series and the Mid-West Drag Racing Series, creating a unique mash-up featuring some of the quickest and most recognizable doorslammers in the sport.

With major bragging rights on the line — and some serious money up for grabs — fans can expect a packed lineup of Pro Mods and outlaw machines ready to throw down at one of the Midwest’s premier drag racing facilities.

Headlining the entry list are heavy hitters including Keith Haney, Kye Kelley, Justin Swanstrom, Ryan Martin, Shawn Ellington, and Ken Goolsby, alongside standout names from across the outlaw racing world.

Shakedown at M’Town combines the chaos and intensity of radial tire racing with the brute force of MWDRS Pro Mods, creating one of the most unique shows on the 2026 drag racing calendar.

Fans can expect qualifying action Thursday and Friday before eliminations cap off the weekend on Saturday night under the lights at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park. Classes scheduled to compete include Pro Mod, Radial vs. The World, Pro 275, Limited Drag Radial, X275, Ultra Street, X255, Gangster X, Top Sportsman, and Top Dragster.
