Outdueling early leader Brandon Overton in an all-out sliderfest the first half of the 50-lap feature, Jonathan Davenport powered his way into the lead on lap 16 and never ceased control to capture his third straight Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory at Golden Isles Speedway on Thursday in Wieland Winternationals action.

Davenport’s triumph marked his 87th career full-field Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory and 95th overall, moving him into sole possession of first on the tour’s all-time wins list, breaking a tie with Scott Bloomquist (94).

Cody Overton's jarring collision into the turn one wall on a lap-12 restart were among the feature's three total cautions. Overton ran fourth at the time subbing for the ailing Tyler Bruening, who's recovering from a neck injury suffered at Ocala Speedway last week.
