Surviving a scrape with race-long leader Kyle Bronson as he abruptly slowed on the seventh lap, polesitter Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill., led the rest of Wednesday's 30-lap Wieland Winternationals second round at Ocala Speedway. Sheppard carved through lapped traffic in the closing laps and beat Hudson O'Neal by 0.583 of a second for the $7,000 payday, his 34th career full-field Lucas Oil Series victory.
