Results from Thursday's Lucas Oil Late Model Series season opener at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Fla.
Powering underneath early leader Brandon Overton and beating him to the line on the 16th lap, sixth-starting Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill., led the rest of Thursday's 40-lap Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season opener at All-Tech Raceway. Sheppard beat Devin Moran to the line by 0.544 of a second to claim the $10,000 Wieland Winternationals opener, his 33rd career full-field Lucas Oil Series victory and 24th career Georgia-Florida Speedweeks triumph, his second straight.
