Entry Lists, Points Update & More For CARS Tour West At Las Vegas Bullring
Entry lists, points updates and more for the CARS Tour West ahead of Saturday's Super Late Model and Limited Late Model showdown at the Las Vegas Bullring.

The Spears CARS Tour West will be under the bright lights of Las Vegas this Saturday, Feb. 21, for the Star Nursery Battle at The Bullring, featuring its Super Late Model, Limited Late Model and Legend Car divisions. Live coverage of the event will be streamed on FloRacing, beginning at 4 p.m. PST (7 p.m. EST).
Headlining the event are the Super Late Models (SLM) as the division opens its 2026 season with a stacked 24-car field with entries from across nine states and Canada, all battling for $15k to win.
Leading the field is veteran racer and reigning 2025 series champion Jace Hansen, who finished second in this event a year ago. He’ll be joined by several rising stars, including Vito Cancilla, Keelan Harvick and series regulars Dylan Zampa and Haeden Plybon. Former Bullring winner, Blaine Rocha of Oakdale, Calif. will also add his name to the mix.
The Limited Late Models (LLM) make their season debut with $4k to win among a field of 27 entries. Jeffrey Peterson enters seeking his third consecutive Bullring victory in late model competition after sweeping both features during the track’s season opener last month. A win Saturday would complete the three-peat for the Grand Terrace, Calif., native.
The Legend Car (LC) division launches its 2026 season Saturday night with an INEX/CTW points-paying 30-lap feature, adding even more action to an already strong card. Bakersfield, Calif., native Robby Sawyer is among the drivers slated to compete in both the LC and PLM divisions this season.
NOTES:
SEASON OPENER FOR THE SUPER LATE MODELS: The Spears CARS Tour West Super Late Model division opens its seven-race schedule at The Bullring with Evans, Colo. native Jace Hansen returning to defend his 2025 championship. Hansen, who finished runner-up in this event last year, capped his title season with a victory in the finale at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway last October, edging young Vito Cancilla of Martinez, Calif. by a mere 10 points in the standings.
YOUNG TALENT: Vito Cancilla, Keelan Harvick, Taylor Mayhew and Dylan Zampa headline a robust youth movement during the 150-lap Super Late Model feature. The 14-year-old Cancilla enters fresh off a championship run in last week’s New Smyrna World Series PLM division. Charlotte, N.C., native Harvick will make just his second career SLM start after finishing 10th in his debut last season. Bakersfield, Calif., native Mayhew, 15, the 2025 LC champion, transitions into SLM competition in 2026. Zampa, a Napa, Calif., native and 2025 LPL champion, is also making the jump to SLM.
SLM 2026 SCHEDULE: The Spears CARS Tour West SLM division increased its schedule to seven events in 2026. In addition to this weekend’s race at The Bullring, the division races at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway (March 14), Colorado National Speedway (May 2), Wenatchee Valley Super Oval (May 30), Tri-City Raceway (July 4), Evergreen Speedway (Aug. 13-15), before circling back to The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Nov. 14) for the season finale.
LLM SHOWCASES CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD: The 100-lap LLM event features a stout field of 27 entries that reads like a who’s who of 2025 regional track champions. The list includes Cody Brown (2025 Bullring champion), Kellen Keller (2025 All American Speedway Jr. Late Model champion), Michael Killen (2025 Orange Show Speedway champion), Jay Juleson (2025 Madera Speedway champion) and Kenna Mitchell (2025 All American Speedway champion).
LLM HOT HAND: Seasoned racer Jeffrey Peterson, winner of The Bullring’s late model 40-lap twin features during last month’s track opener, is looking to add a third trophy to his collection this weekend in LLM action. Peterson won twice in LPL in 2025 and was crowned the Late Model track champion at The Bullring in 2023.
LEGEND CAR LADDER: Several of the LC drivers are making the crossover into other Spears CARS Tour West divisions. Among them is Robby Sawyer of Bakersfield, Calif., who is scheduled to compete in both LC and PLM in 2026. Reigning LC champion Taylor Mayhew advances to SLM action in 2026, while Brenden Ruzbarsky, a three-time winner in 2025, is slated to compete in LLM events this season.
VEGAS LOCALS: Several Sin City natives will be competing at The Bullring this weekend, including Chris Clyne and Amillio Thomson in SLM competition along with Kellen Keller, Chris Jackson and Johnny Spilorto in LLM. Thomson is entered in both divisions. Gavin Ray, Ryan Ford and Caitlyn Ford will represent the Las Vegas contingent in LC.
STAR NURSERY: A longtime supporter of racing at The Bullring, Star Nursery is the leading supplier of gardening, landscaping and decorative rock supplies with over three decades of service in Southern Nevada, Utah and Northern Arizona. Star Nursery has 16 locations, including seven in the Las Vegas area.
RECORD SETTING PURSE IN 2026: The biggest payout in Spears CARS Tour West history is up for grabs in 2026 with $2.1 million in total payouts, including $200k in championship awards, $1.9 million in purse money and bonuses and partner awards at every race. Multiple marquee events with high-dollar purses are on the docket through the season.
NEW BULLRING PARTNERSHIP FOR 2026: The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway launched its 2026 season under a new partnership with former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick, veteran short-track promoter Tim Huddleston and the Spears CARS Tour West. The collaboration for 2026-27 ushers in a new era for the 3/8-mile asphalt oval, combining proven leadership with LVMS’s world-class facilities.
SPEARS CARS TOUR WEST TO STREAM ALL SEASON LONG ON FLORACING: FloRacing kicked off its streaming partnership will CARS Tour West last month at Tucson and will continue to serve as the broadcast home of the Spears CARS Tour West in 2026.
