The USAC National Sprint Car Series raced their second event of the season at Volusia Speedway Park Tuesday night. 27 cars signed into the pit area with Kevin Thomas Jr. setting quick-time in qualifying to begin the night. 

Heat races were won by Justin Grant, Ricky Lewis and Mitchel Moles. Logan Calderwood won the semi feature which set up a 30-lap main event.

C.J. Leary jumped to the early lead with third place starter Jake Swanson following him through from the second row on the initial jump. Leary would lead the first five laps of the race until Swanson made a bid for the lead in turn 4 on lap 6, when the caution flag flew. The pass did not count and Leary would lead the field back to green on the restart. 

Swanson would slide Leary for the lead in turn one on the restart and take command of the race with Logan Seavey following into second. Swanson stretched his lead to three seconds by lap 10. He carved through traffic in a long green flag run and with ten to go he was up to a full straight away lead. 

Swanson would go on to win the $12,000 feature event, with Logan Seavey finishing second and Kevin Thomas Jr. third. Logan Seavey would earn the big gator trophy by scoring the most points in the two nights at Volusia winning on night one and finishing second on the final night.
