The Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts returns where the event began in 2001 at Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande, Ariz., as the miniseries features four $10,000-to-win events bookended by $25,000-to-win features.

Executing a decisive turn-one slider on Bobby Pierce on lap 24, Hudson O’Neal reclaimed the lead for good and led the final seven laps to win his second feature at the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at Central Arizona Raceway.

O’Neal led twice for a race-high 18 laps (12-22, 24-30) and edged Pierce by 0.704 seconds to earn his second $10,000 payday of the week, adding to his Jan. 11 victory.

O’Neal has now banked more than $42,000 this week, fueled by a runner-up finish in the Jan. 10 opener and a pair of $10,000 victories. Pierce briefly surged to the point with a turn-three slider, narrowly leading lap 23 by 0.039 seconds over O’Neal before he slid back ahead in the ensuing corners.

Ryan Gustin controlled the opening 11 laps from the outside front row before fading to third, as the race featured three lead changes among Gustin, O’Neal and Pierce.
