Drivers from across the motorsports landscape will make their way to Tulsa, Oklahoma to compete for a Golden Driller trophy during the 40th annual Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink next week. Among those drivers will be a strong group of NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers.

The 2026 Chili Bowl Nationals will be held January 11-17 inside the SageNet Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A practice day on Sunday will set the stage for five nights of preliminary action leading into the main events on Saturday, January 17.

Currently, eight drivers with NASCAR experience are registered for the Chili Bowl:

• Kyle Larson (NASCAR Cup Series)
• Christopher Bell (NASCAR Cup Series)
• Ty Gibbs (NASCAR Cup Series)
• Jesse Love (NASCAR O'Reilly Series)
• Sheldon Creed (NASCAR O'Reilly Series)
• Corey Day (NASCAR O'Reilly Series)
• J.J. Yeley (NASCAR Cup Series)
• Josh Bilicki (NASCAR Cup Series)

Despite making up a small percentage of the nearly 400 entries, NASCAR drivers have found success in this prestigious indoor Midget race.

Bell won three consecutive times (2017-2019) and is one of only four drivers in history to win three or more times. 

Larson, one of the 75 greatest drivers in NASCAR history, is a three-time champion and defending winner of the Chili Bowl Nationals. He made his debut in 2008 at age 15, and he picked up victories in 2020, 2021 and 2025.

Ty Gibbs made his debut at the event one year ago and is coming off a strong effort in which he qualified and finished 13th in the Tulsa Shootout Non-Wing Outlaw main event. 

Former driver and owner Tony Stewart found the winner’s circle at the Chili Bowl, too, taking home the Golden Driller Trophy in 2002 and 2007. Stewart will play the role of Grand Marshal at this year's event.
