Pensacola Weather Postpones 2025 Snowball Derby
The 2025 Snowball Derby has been postponed once again due to on-going weather and unfavorable track condition at Five Flags Speedway. Here's the updates!
The Florida weather has become the biggest enemy for the 58th running of the Snowball Derby as on-going rain, fog and unfavorable track conditions has postponed the 300-lap finale at Five Flags Speedway.

Originally scheduled for a 1PM CT start time on Sunday, Dec. 7, the Pensacola weather had other plans for the 2025 Snowball Derby.
With consistent rain and heavy fog throughout the course of the day on Dec. 7, race officials have determined that the safest course of action is the postpone and reschedule the 300-lap main event until Monday, Dec. 8.
36 drivers will head back on the track for the 300-lap finale of one of the most anticipated race weekends of the year. At the conclusion of the checkered flag, a $50,000 purse and the Tom Dawson trophy for the newest winner of the 2025 Snowball Derby.
With the newest adjustments in schedule, the Snowball Derby will have a green flag start at 1PM CT/ 2PM ET on Monday, Dec. 8. All other races that were originally postponed to Dec. 8 will now take place on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
