After another round of Kubota Gateway Dirt Nationals rough-and-tumble heat race and consolation action, Friday's feature lineups for the Late Model and Modified features at The Dome at America's Center are nearly set.

Mark Whitener earned the pole of the 25-lap, $10,000-to-win Late Model feature by virtue of winning the Hellraizer Jacks Pit Stop Challenge with a time of 35.88 seconds. Hudson O'Neal (36.25), Kyle Bronson (37.53), Drake Troutman (37.94), Josh Rice (41.90) and Brenden Smith (47.47) followed in the Pit Stop Challenge that determined the first six starting spots of the feature.

Rice's crew turned in an official time of 31.90 seconds, but two lug nuts were loose that docked him 10 seconds and Bronson's crew turned in an official time of 32.53 seconds, but one lug nut loose docked him five seconds.

Tim Ward and Carlos Ahumada Jr. are on the front row of the 20-lap, $5,000-to-win Modified prelim feature.
