High Limit Racing has released a list of 11 American sprint car drivers scheduled to compete in the second edition of High Limit International at Perth Motorplex from Dec. 28–30.

Among the group is two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson, who won the inaugural High Limit International in 2024 — the richest single payday in Australian sprint car history at $100,000 AUD. This year’s winner will receive $110,000 AUD.

In addition to winning the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series championship, Larson earned nine sprint car victories this year, highlighted by a six-figure payday in the High Limit Joker’s Jackpot at Eldora Speedway, a win at Tulare, a Knoxville Nationals preliminary victory and four World of Outlaws triumphs.

Buddy Kofoid will compete at Perth Motorplex for the first time in 2025. Kofoid recorded a million-dollar season this year while driving for Roth Motorsports on the World of Outlaws tour and was the nation’s highest-earning sprint car driver, according to SprintCarRatings.com.

Kofoid's 13 wins in 2025 were highlighted by a $250,000 Huset's Highbank Nationals win with the Outlaws and a $55,555 Eagle Nationals payday with High Limit Racing. He won the Ironman 55 at I-55 and finished the season with a victory during the World Finals at Charlotte. 

Brad Sweet will return to High Limit International at Perth Motorplex, where he has earned three career victories. “The Big Cat” recently announced at the High Limit banquet that he is retiring from full-time national sprint car competition, though he is clearly not stepping away from major events.

Sweet had five wins in 2025, including two wins in March with High Limit Racing at Bakersfield and Central Arizona Speedway. He won in Wisconsin with the World of Outlaws at Beaver Dam and earned High Limit wins at Florence and Lakeside. 

Carson Macedo will return to Perth Motorplex for the first time since 2018. Macedo posted a strong 2025 season with the World of Outlaws and Jason Johnson Racing, earning 12 victories. His year included an early-season win at Volusia Speedway Park in February while injured, a milestone victory at Atomic Speedway in May that marked his 50th World of Outlaws win on his 29th birthday, and a triumph in July at the Brad Doty Classic at Attica. He also captured a $25,000 High Limit Racing victory at Lernerville in July.

High Limit Racing champion Rico Abreu is also set to return to Australia after missing last year’s event due to injury. Abreu returns following the best season of his sprint car career, recording a nation-leading 19 victories in 410 winged sprint car competition. He finished second in total earnings in 2025, trailing only Buddy Kofoid, according to SprintCarRatings.com.

Fresh off his best season ever in a sprint car, Aaron Reutzel will also make the trip to Australia to make his first career start at Perth Motorplex. Reutzel continues to nurse a foot injury he sustained in a crash at Eldora Speedway in July. 

Reutzel delivered a standout season with Ridge & Sons Racing on the Kubota High Limit Racing tour, collecting seven wins, including a $100,000 victory in the Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal. He added a High Limit win at Eldora in July before injuring his foot in a crash during the World of Outlaws portion of the Kings Royal.

After missing more than two months, Reutzel returned in September and scored victories at Port Royal during Tuscarora 50 prelims and again at Eldora’s 4-Crown, both while racing with a specially designed boot. His efforts helped RSR earn its best-ever finish in High Limit owner points, placing second.

Corey Day will compete in Australia this winter before beginning his first full-time season with Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Day recorded seven victories in winged 410 sprint cars this season, including a win during High Limit Racing’s opening weekend at Las Vegas.

He added a High Limit victory at Tri-City in May, defeated the World of Outlaws at Knoxville in June and scored his biggest win in September, capturing the Gold Cup Race of Champions in California. The victory made him the first driver since Steve Kinser to win the event three straight years and paid $100,071.

Cole Macedo will join his brother, Carson, in Australia. Macedo had a solid season driving for Wayne Johnson with the World of Outlaws. He had five top fives and 20 top 10s with Outlaws in 2025, while also earning his first national sprint car victory with High Limit Racing at Fremont. He flipped after the finish line in spectacular fashion and did a cage stand on top of the broken race car. 

Brock Zearfoss will also make his return overseas. The veteran sprint car driver stayed local in 2025 and ran 82 races, tallying two victories in Central PA. According to SprintCarRatings.com, Zearfoss was ranked ninth on the Central PA rankings. Both of his wins came in September, one during the Labor Day Classic at Port Royal and the other at Willams Grove. 

Justin Whittall will again race with High Limit International in 2025. Ranked 11th in Central PA Rankings on SprintCarRatings.com, Whittall had two victories this season, winning at Port Royal in July and at Bridgeport in November. 

Xavier Doney will head down under with High Limit International at Perth Motorplex. Xavier had two wins in 2025 with the POWRi 410 Sprint League. Both wins came in August, one at the Missouri State Fair and the other at 34 Raceway.
