Greg Biffle To Help Relief Efforts In Jamaica Following Hurricane Melissa
One year after playing a large role in Hurricane Helene relief efforts, Greg Biffle said he's ready to help out again this time in Jamaica.

Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle is preparing to once again take part in relief efforts in the wake of a major storm.
A year ago, Biffle and motorsports personality Cleetus McFarland (Garrett Mitchell) were some of the first good samaritans to mobilize in the wake of Hurricane Helene, which devastated the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains due to mass flooding and landslides. Biffle and Mitchell flew supplies into the region in their private recreational helicopters.
Biffle took to the social media site, X, on Tuesday morning to announce that he will once again be ready and willing to help out, this time in Jamaica and other Caribbean areas affected, once Hurricane Mellissa’s impacts start to become known.

Hurricane Melissa, was an extremely powerful Category 5 storm producing maximum sustained winds of 185 mph, when it made landfall in Jamaica around 1 p.m. ET. Hurricane Melissa is one of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean according to the NOAA. Hurricane Melissa had a pressure of 892 mb. Only two storms have ever had a lower pressure than Melissa, and only one hurricane has had stronger sustained winds.
Biffle said on Tuesday morning that he was “trying to coordinate and explore all opportunities via by sea and by air for relief efforts as quickly as we can to the Caribbean. We have the large boat and landing craft on standby for deployment to possibly take supplies once we can get an update and monitoring the situation like everyone and praying for all who are affected.”
The winner of 19 NASCAR Cup Series races, a NASCAR Xfinity Series championship, and a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship, received the 2024 Myers Brothers Award from the National Motorsports Press Association for his humanitarian efforts following Hurricane Helene last year.
