The full list of invitees for the Modified division at the 2025 Kubota Gateway Dirt Nationals Presented By O’Reilly Auto Parts has now been released by race officials. In total, 65 drivers from all forms of Dirt Modified racing are slated to compete inside the dome in December.

Defending Gateway Dirt Nationals Modified champion Trevor Neville is back and looking to make it two straight wins in St. Louis.  The Illinois driver also won on his preliminary night on Friday night last year ahead of his first main event triumph.

Late Model superstar and former Gateway Dirt Nationals Modified champion Ricky Thornton Jr. returns for another go inside the dome.  The 2025 World 100 winner won the Thursday night preliminary feature last year before encountering issues in the Saturday night main event.

Former Gateway Modified champions Ray Bollinger (2017), Mike Harrison (2018), Tyler Peterson (2021), and Drake Troutman (2023) all return as former winners of the event. Former preliminary night winners looking for their first main event victories include Tanner Mullens and Jordan Grabouski. Trent Young returns after finishing runner-up in 2024, along with fifth-place finisher Carlos Ahumada Jr.

The Gateway Dirt Nationals will see Modified champions from multiple sanctioning bodies on hand.  2024 DIRTcar Modified Summernationals champion Mike McKinney, current USMTS points leader Rodney Sanders and defending USMTS champion Jim Chisholm, and 2025 IMCA Modified national champion Jeff Reay have received invites.

The full list of invitees can be found below.

The 2025 Kubota Gateway Dirt Nationals kick off Thursday, December 4 with the first night of preliminary action. A second night of prelims follows on Friday, December 5, leading into Saturday night’s main event on December 6.
