Way back in January it was announced that Bakersfield Speedway would be moving all of its operations to the ⅓-mile dirt track at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. Included in that move was the NARC 410 Sprint Cars date scheduled for Saturday, October 25.

Soon after that move was made, the CARS Tour West announced the series' schedule, which featured a Super Late Model and Limited Pro Late Model event also on Saturday, October 25, also at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway.

Confused? Don’t be. Fortunately, Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway has two race tracks on property. There’s the high-banked half-mile paved oval that the CARS Tour West will race on, and just off turn four of that property is the dirt track where the NARC 410 Sprint Cars will race at the same time.

But it presents a unique opportunity as not often in motorsports do we see two tracks on the same property operating simultaneously. Even at places like Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway, properties that all have multiple facilities on-site, typically operate one race track at a time.

Fortunately for the fans, Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway has made a special ticket offer for fans who would want to check out racing at both tracks. Fans can buy a special combo ticket for $32.59 and get a general admission pass to both events and not miss much as the two tracks will have staggered start times. The grandstand gates at the asphalt track open at 3 p.m. with main events starting at 4:30, while the gates at the dirt track open at 6 p.m. with hot laps and qualifying to follow soon after.

That means that fans can watch as Keelan Harvick makes his Super Late Model debut and attempts to beat his father, NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick, yet again at the pavement track, and they can also head over to the dirt track to watch drivers like DJ Netto, Bud Kaeding, Sean Becker, Dominic Gorden, and Justin Sanders do battle in some wing-to-wing Sprint Car action.

And if you can’t make it out to either of the two tracks at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway on Saturday night, that’s okay too. You can watch the action from both tracks live on FloRacing.
