Anthony Macri Heading West To Represent PA Posse At Trophy Cup
Anthony Macri will make the trip from Pennsylvania to compete in this week's Trophy Cup at Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway.

Pennsylvania standout Anthony Macri will represent the East Coast’s renowned PA Posse as he heads west to compete in the 31st annual Abreu Vineyards Trophy Cup at Tulare’s Thunderbowl Raceway.
Macri, representing Dillsburg, Pa., has been confirmed on the official entry list for the prestigious three-night event, scheduled for Oct. 16–18, for the second time in his career. Piloting the No. 94 Tiner-Hirst Enterprise Sprint Car, the same entry he raced at the 2021 Trophy Cup where he finished second and 12th on his prelim nights and 11th on the final night four years ago, Macri will take on some of the best sprint car drivers in the nation as they battle for one of the most coveted titles in West Coast dirt racing.
The Trophy Cup, renowned for its high-intensity format and deep field, is widely regarded as one of the toughest and most entertaining 410 Sprint Car events in the country. The event not only tests drivers’ speed and consistency but also rewards adaptability across multiple nights of racing at the high-banked, third-mile Thunderbowl Raceway.
The 2025 Trophy Cup will feature a record total purse exceeding $310,000. Thursday and Friday A-Main winners will each take home $7,500. Saturday’s final A-Main carries a top prize of $10,000. The overall points champion for the weekend will earn $30,000. In addition, each night’s feature pays $1,000 to start for all qualifiers.
Macri’s participation further elevates the national appeal of this year’s field, adding an East Coast flair to a lineup that already features many of California’s top sprint car competitors. Macri, the 2025 Kings Royal winner at Eldora Speedway, has become a fixture in major national events, and his return to the West Coast adds another exciting storyline to the 2025 edition of the Trophy Cup.
